Tesollo Initiates IPO Process While Developing Humanoid Hands

Robot Design Net · · 2 min read

Tesollo Inc., a South Korean developer of robotic hands, has begun preparations for an initial public offering (IPO) in the coming year and completed its Series B funding round to fuel global expansion. The company specializes in manufacturing core robotic components, advanced end effectors, and systems for robot autonomy and human-robot collaboration.

Founded in 2019 and based in Incheon, South Korea, Tesollo is securing customers in major markets including the U.S., China, and Japan. It has exported products to 19 countries, and overseas sales recently surpassed domestic sales. Existing shareholders such as POSCO Technology Investment, KB Investment, and Enlight Ventures participated in the Series B round, along with strategic investors Daesung Hi-Tech and HL Mando.

Tesollo’s product line ranges from DG-2F parallel grippers to the five-fingered DG-5F. The DG-5F-S, developed using proprietary in-house actuators, weighs less than 1 kg (2.2 lb.) and offers high precision and stability at about 60% of the cost of its predecessor. In March 2025, the company demonstrated the DG-3 three-fingered gripper at AW 2026.

CEO Young-Jin Kim stated, “Through our IPO, we aim to establish a corporate foundation that global customers can trust and accelerate our expansion into overseas markets.” The company plans to strengthen mass-production capabilities and advance core technology development to become a global leader in the robotic hand sector.
