The RoboCup 2026 humanoid league knockout stages concluded this weekend in Incheon, South Korea, with winners crowned in the small, middle, and large divisions. The event showcased top teams from universities worldwide competing in autonomous soccer matches.
In the small division, Invic from Wuhan University, China took first place, followed by Hamburg Bit-Bots from Universität Hamburg, Germany, and GeoHBots from China University of Geosciences. The middle division saw B-Human from Universität Bremen and DFKI, Germany win, with HTWK Robots from Leipzig University of Applied Sciences and Rhoban from University of Bordeaux placing second and third. The large division was won by Tsinghua Hephaestus from Tsinghua University, China, with CAU Mountain Sea from China Agricultural University and Water from Beijing Information Science Technology University rounding out the top three.
The winners in the small, middle, and large humanoid divisions were decided, with top teams from universities worldwide competing in autonomous soccer matches.
In addition to the main competitions, five league-wide awards were presented: Best Customized Humanoid Award to HERoEHS (ALICE 4th version), Best Humanoid Software Award to B-Human (Game Controller), Open Research Challenge to Ruhrbot Devils (AI Camera Platform for Embedded 2D/3D Game Analysis in RoboCup HSL), Best Innovation Award to Bahia Robotics Team, and Best Referee Award to Anastasia Prisacaru (Berlin United). The event continues with a symposium bringing together researchers and practitioners.
