Humanoid, a robotics company developing the HMND humanoid robot, has announced partnerships with Bosch and Schaeffler to scale production and distribution of its robot in Europe. The HMND robot is designed for industrial applications, including material handling and assembly tasks. Under the agreement, Bosch will leverage its manufacturing expertise to help Humanoid ramp up production volumes, while Schaeffler will contribute its precision components and motion control systems to enhance the robot’s performance. Additionally, Humanoid has previously partnered with Siemens to integrate automation technologies. The collaborations aim to accelerate the commercialization of humanoid robots in manufacturing environments, addressing labor shortages and improving efficiency. Humanoid plans to begin pilot deployments with select customers in 2025, targeting automotive and electronics industries. The company did not disclose financial terms or specific production targets.
